that kind of depends, once they get into your car I have a feeling they will take this as well. if it is seen you will have to hope that they just move on knowing they are on camera.

my mistake on that last comment... the missing cable (that all of you have Lynn377 to thank for getting it back for you) was not the 3 foot cable, it was a small 8 - 10 inch data cable that allowed you to connect the camera to a computer to download what was recorded to the SD card. that is needed if you do not have a card reader on your computer.
but to be perfectly clear:
EVERYTHING IS NOW INCLUDED IN THE BOX THAT WAS ORIGINALLY THERE.

you can not see the USB cord when you open the package. everything needed except the cord is included. the cord is the same one that you are using at home to charge your phone or tablet most likely. a $1.99 cord at wal-mart.

for those who read the comments and may just have not noticed that there was an update added... the 3 foot USB to mini USB cord has been located and is now included in the box. everything that was originally there is now again there.

it is great for many things. like I had mentioned it does help that it is smaller and harder to see if you leave it in the car without you there.
as a documentary of a trip... 32 GIG SD card holds quite a bit and could annoy everyone who you make sit and watch better than what home movies used to do to guests :) I could also be showing my age with that joke as well.:)

again, the cord that goes between the camera (mini-usb end) and the unit that plugs into the power socket (regular usb end) is not included. it has stated so in the description from day 1.

what you see is not blacked out... it is crossed out. the USB to mini USB cord is not included. it got used for something else when this was opened and checked. it is just a standard cord, but I have no idea where it is now.

it was a gift, so i could not tell you where from and I use the Go-Pro instead even though it is much bigger and easily seen when hanging in the windshield.
