The listing, ATI HD 4850x2 (partially working)///2x Zalman VF900 has ended.

Sapphire Radeon HD 4850x2 with 2x Zalman VF900 vga coolers.

This is a single physical card with two(2) GPUs. However, the second GPU does not function properly and crashes within minutes when playing a 3D game. The workaround is to simply turn off CrossfireX, and play video games with the power of a single 4850. I was hoping it was a heat issue and purchased two aftermarket heatsink/fans but the issue still happens, both fans work wonderully, they do however need to be plugged into a 3-pin connector. They also fit on anything 4000 and 5000 series (and prolly 6000 series) of graphic cards.

BE WARNED!!! This card is long @11.5 inches, says that a 650w PSU is required but with the one GPU a 450w+ should work. This also requires a 6-pin and 8-pin pci-e power, i can provide adaptors if need be.

how much onboard memory is there

1GB per GPU, so 1GB in normal and 2GB in crossfire mode

I love the fact that you shop at NewEgg. Too bad for this card that only 1 GPU works correctly. Its an asskicker!

the newegg black friday deals are insane, ive boughten several items under $50 with $25+ mail in rebates, as for the card... ive tried everything to get it to work, updated the video bios, underclocking, changed machines, different power supplies... of course this happend RIGHT after the warranty ran out =/

They are insane! I remember when NewEgg was a hole-in-the-wall place down the street from where I used to live... then they got big and move to a town some miles away. Still as awesome as the day they started!
