No they are made of a real hard thick plastic of some sort!! They dont have wheels that actually move!! I am guessing it is made to just put on a shelf or something!! It is really cute though!! I found it at a antique store in the bottom of a huge toy box!! lol Hope this helps with any questions you may have!!
