Description

The listing, 9K Yellow Gold Ring Size 7, bent, gemstone missing has ended.

Attention, jewelry makers!!! A little TLC and a new gemstone can transform this poor ring into a beauty again!
It was lost in the street, then found again, but it was bent and there was no trace of the blue topaz it once had.
The stamp is not familiar to me, so I tried to get a close-up (photo 3).
I don't know how much this ring is worth in this condition, but the almost identical one I bought to replace it cost me $200.00.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
I am in Europe and this item will need international priority handling, insurance and a tracking number, so I'm asking you to contribute $5.00 towards the total cost. But I will make sure you won't have to pay import tax.
I CAN ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL, so if you don't have a Paypal account please don't bid.

UPDATE: FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IF THE WINNING BID IS 4000 CREDITS OR OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure that you will not be able to accept consealed cash? I am having a problem with paypal and things have not been resolved yet. I would really like to have this blank ring. I have a lt of gems and now I just need settings. New ones sell in large lots only. I don't need 200 at one time LOL thank

I'm so sorry, Michele, but the banks over here won't change any notes smaller than $10. Also, the money would be very unlikely to get here, however well concealed, as it will go through at least 2 international borders and would likely be detected. That's why Paypal is really my only option. Could you perhaps not ask a friend or relative with a Paypal account?

Ziba, I totally understand what it's like when you're just starting out and haven't had time to complete any auctions yet, but I hope you understand what it's like for me: International tracked shipping is expensive, and I can't really afford to pay $8 or more to ship something that goes for very few credits. But even having lots of credits is no good to me when I can't find anything to buy, as most sellers don't ship internationally...And when they do I also have to pay shipping charges!
I really appreciate the fact that you entered into positive discussion and were prepared to trust that I'm doing the best I can, and I hate to think you're going to be disappointed, so I'll go back to the shop and try to get another ring to list later (only, given the distance, it may not get there in time for Christmas) -- would that help?

Ooooops, I'm so sorry, I just noticed that I've mixed information from two different auctions (what an idiot I was!!!!) what with all the noise going on -- and I can't edit my post, eeek!
The ring I mean to buy and list is NOT gold, so perhaps it wouldn't be any good to those interested in this auction. But there are a couple of stirling silver pieces in the drawer, so I may list those.
Sorry about the mix-up!
[Now I'm off to attend to the noisy kids, lol]

It's stamped 9 Ct, as you can see on Picture 3 (upside down). You will know best what you intend to do with it, but this ring is at least 50 years old, probably more, and it would be worth more to you as an antique, to repair, than as scrap.
As for the weight, I'm afraid I don't have ant scales sensitive enough -- but it's quite light: the band is barely over 1 mm wide, and as you can see on the second picture, there's a gap between the fleurs-de-lis on both sides and the band beneath. The internal diameter is 17 mm, so that will give you an idea.
