Description

The listing, Miniature tiger aloe has ended.

This auction is for one starter of mini tiger aloe. The cutting will be about 1-1 1/2" between the pointy ends. They will grow about 1/2", maybe 1" wider eventually. They are great for rock and fairy gardens, terrariums, etc. Their leaves are green with whitish spots they might get rusty edges with more light , I've seen them turn reddish in full sun and heat, and then their leaves kind of 'shrink', getting thinner and 'spikier', but they will not die. If you let them to grow up, they will, I usually cut them when they are look too tall, plant the top part to start a new plant, and the original one will start to shoot offsets on the sides very soon.

If the biddings go over 50K, I will add another starter of this one, or zebra aloe you can see in the second picture. The cutting will be about the same size and the mature plant will be about 4" wide and 2-3" tall.

I will not offer GIN on this one to give every one a chance, but if you are willing to offer reasonable GIN for either one or both, please contact me via private message, please, do not post any offers in the comments, they will be hidden.

I have a terrarium made from a 5 gallon pantry jar. Inside are mosses, ferns and even some Oxyalis. Just like all of your plants, this looks beautiful!

I've found very nice picture of this plant on http://worldofsucculents.com/aloe-juvenna-tiger-tooth-aloe/ If mine would grow like that one, I wouldn't mind to let it grow up.... Must be something in the water or climate or me...

I believe the one your talking about that you say gets tall is a climbing aloe I have one that is more narrow something like this one as well and it is actually still getting taller.. I just placed 2 sticks 1 on each side to let it keep climbing to see just how tall..
Well I know I will cut it if it gets very tall cause it might start looking funny and plus like you mentioned to make new starts for the flower pot as well so it will get full and just not be so bare...
I think you have a really nice auctions and I for one and for sure watching and I would friend you but, I`m at my limit and it won`t let me fan anyone I am not sure why?? Thank You for sharing this new little plant with everyone...

I guess you can call it climbing, but it is very hard to train it.
Plus, I don't like thin tall look, so I keep mine short and sweet...LOL
