It is against the rules to list something and then not fulfill your obligations once your auction is public. When you "submit" the auction to create the listing you agree to fulfill your end of it to any bidder at any price unless you have a minimum bid set up.

I have been watching this and was going to bid towards the end BUT now you say you won't take anything less than 1.5 mil you should have had LISTIA delete this days ago and relisted it with a 1.5 mil GIN instead of stringing all these members along ITS BAD BUSINESS ETIQUETTE AND I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT IS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS AUCTION

If you take the pics from farther away, then use Picasa to crop them , it works a lot better! Most cameras can't get clear pics up so close. Four feet it about as close as you can get without blurring. Also you can roll a piece of kleenex or fabric inside t hold it steady. (And you can set the camera and it on a table to keep it steady

And besides, some bidders don't read all the comments before bidding and unless the auction is deleted the original offering is in effect. People won't notice that you are threatening not to send the ring once it has been won unless it meets a certain amount to satisfy you. Doesn't work that way on Listia ;(
