googled it and came up with someone asking the price of this stating they got it from american mint. hard cash collection value is not far from zero. lol. but if you like old 500 bills or ole abe then maybe another value to you. the most i found this for online was 44.95. which is a rip off even then. its a piece of metal dipped in gold twice. which meltdown value wouldnt even be worth melting. if you took this to a fine metal jeweler theyd send you packing with coin in hand. just saying.. lol

I have the exact same item, I've had it for about 6 months, And the coin is plated just like the art bars I've been putting on, But in the middle of this coin is gold alloy(NOT SOLID)And the small money is a replica of what they looked back in the olden days, But This is a nice lot, and would be a nice addition to any collection,
