I grew other tomatoes, but there all self pollinating so even if they did somehow cross then i think they would of grown funny and looked strange. I would of kept those for myself to try for fun.
No, they would look normal this year. However, the seeds from saved fruits that were cross pollinated would grow the cross variety. They are considered self pollinating because the pollen from the flower can be used to pollinate that exact same flower. So, when left to mother nature to pollinate with bees and other bugs, they carry the pollen from one plant to the next allowing for cross pollinating. The only way to avoid this when growing more than one variety is to bag the flower before it opens to ensure that no bugs can get in that flower. Then steps have to be taken to ensure pollination of that flower and then the seeds saved from that fruit to ensure true seeds. :-) Happy gardening!
But the pollen is so deep in the stamens, when it flowers it has already pollinated itself. Unless you cross pollinate flowers yourself then its near impossible.
