The listing, Homemade Knit Stocking *winner chooses colors!* has ended.

Stockings...handmade with love! I knit these babies for my favorite people this time of the year and thought I'd auction one up here. Winner chooses up to two colors for their stocking, and I will need a few days after the auction ends to make the stocking. The stockings are for looks, but to get a feel of the size, the foot of the stocking is larger than the average female foot, and the leg comes up almost to the knee.

Oh my gosh!! My son would love a pair of these to wear! He had a friend send him a pair from Belgium and he wore them until they were unrepairable! gotta have a pair for him :-)

This auction is actually for a SINGLE *Christmas* stocking. But I suppose I could create an auction for wearable stockings/socks soon. =]

Cool! I've tried to knit socks...I was told it's one of the "easiest" thing to make, HA! Plus there are so many 'patterns' out there, gotta find one that's super easy.

Socks are fun, but they rough up my fingers pretty good. Stockings are MUCH easier. =]

LOL...easier than socks? uh huh..... but, have you ever heard of converting a knit pattern into a crochet one? Not sure I'm up to trying socks again...turn the other ones into leg warmers, :-D

I use a loom, so it isn't really a knit or a crochet pattern. :P You're getting the product, not the pattern.

I've actually never made something like that. I imagine it would take me a good while, so I don't know if I can do one for this winter, but I'll try to formulate a pattern and I'll get back to you. =]

I guess that would depend on how well this one went. The stockings aren't hard to make, but they do cost money that this college kid doesn't have much of. To guarantee more stockings, I have a web store I sell them in. Message me if you're interested in the link.

If these were to go over 1000, I'd definitely list another auction, but I don't see them going that high.
