Description
The listing, Set of three Camel Smoking Devices has ended.
For those that were watching my first auction, I apologize. It was nowhere where I wanted it. Hopefully this one makes up for my mistakes.....Happy Bidding....Have any questions, just ask...i am putting several more auctions with Camel collectibles...and would also combine shipping..... So,I now have two Camel Zippo lighters. One is very hard to find in this good of condition. The other one is more of a womens size. The third in the set is a portable ashtray..
Questions & Comments
do you collect camel stuff yourself and just have too much or what? i have a camel pool table lamp been wondering if it would be worth selling or listing
Yes ckpearce, I have collected Mostly Camel stuff, but alot of other smoking stuff. I agree about the free shipping. I sold an exact sister Zippo Camel lighter to a guy about four years ago got $150 cash. So, I guess it the bidding got up around 1000, I would offer free shipping. And chpearce, I highly reccomend listing that light. If I wasn't downsizing, I would be very interested in it. I have several other auctions,Check them out. I will combine shipping.. thanks for the intrest
these are some really cool items, but you should consider free shipping if you want them to skyrocket in the bid, or even free if they sell for high enough. it helps good luck
Yes they do indeed work. They have been on display for about 8 or 10 years, so they are dry as a bone. Though they do have brand new wicks and flints, so it you want to use them, just add fluid. Do not put the older fo the two in your pocket, It will give you fluid burns. One, its a poor desighn. Thats why they didnt make very many of them. The lid is desighned in such a way that it doesnt hold in the fluid like a normal Zippo. And twok it has the original cotton in it. Its about fifty years old, and it just wont hold any fluid to speak of. It was the center peice of my collection. Sorry my replies are so long. I just want to give the type of informaition that I would like to receive. Happy Biddingt!!!
It depends on where it ships to. But I would never charge you or anyone else a penny more than what it costs me to ship. And I have a close relationship to my collection, so I will make doubley sure that they are safe while in transit.
I havent recieved any bids. Is there something I could do differently that would make my auctions more appealing? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well, from a bidders standpoint, I'd say your doing just fine. ;) I love to find auctions that no one else is bidding on! LOL
But seriously, most of the bidding takes place during the last hour of an auction, and I think your Camel Collectibles are going to do quite well! I know I'll be in on the action!
