First, the Mid East thing.
Though you may see these occasionally sold as gold and as coins, this is actually from a belly dancers costume and is obviously brass, not gold. The design is just that, a design. Kind of looks like some 9th-12th century Islamic coins, but the writing is a design, not words. From my research done years ago, this is most likely made from mid 19th to early 20th century. It is paper thin, and would have been tied together. Don't be fooled in the future if you see one!

Now, what I believe is a 5th century Roman. I believe it's a salvs repvblicae circa 450. Due to the constant invasions, inflation and geNeral decline of the empire, coins of this period were often struck hastily, not to the previous standards. Also struck on a cold planchant, the coin remained thick and the legends were mostly off flan. Thicker than the other 2 combined.

Ran out of room lol
There are some legends on the coin, I am not sure if there's enough to get a full attribution or even just the ruler certain. Fairly confident of the age and type, though I have forgotten a lot over the ten years or so that I haven't collected ancients. Still a nice little coin.

I'm full of useless knowledge lol. Like to share it when it's pertinent. Saw one of the belly dancers things on eBay as gold a month or so back, is why I thought to share that. Had them close the auction, but I've seen them several times. Don't like people ripping others off. If I don't know what something is exactly, I'm big enough to admit it. Sorry I ramble lol. Good luck and thank you.
