Yes, but it doesn't really feel like a static shock or anything. I thought it just felt a little tingly.

Do they hook you up to the big E-stim machine? My doctor does, but with work and all I don't have time to get in there as often as I'd like. These little ones are not as powerful, but at least they can go to work with you :) Good luck!

yea i get electro shock therapy hurts like hell my thigh has internal bloodclots so im always in pain

Hmm... while I'm not yet a doctor (soon! I hope) TENS shouldn't hurt that much when it's done right imo. I use it all the time. I've never used it for clots, I have paralyzed muscles in my back that I need to kick out of atrophy. On the big machine, I start off low and raise it every 30 seconds or so as my body habituates, then after a few minutes I'm at my peak and let it go for 10-20 minutes. If your clinician just pops the machine on high and leaves the room, then ow! Maybe it's time to find a new clinician. In my experience, the key is to relax and let it work your muscles - it does sting a little if I'm tense and accidentally fighting the current.
