"GOLD TONE PRODUCT" 2-layer jewelry box. It is vintage of the 60's. The velvet in the box is HOLE FREE but does have 3 little spots on the bottom shelf that can be clearly seen in the pictures posted above. There are 3 missing rhinestones on the top at the bottom of flower leaf. Size: closed 4 inches long X 1- 3/4 inches tall. 3 inches wide. Open approx 5-1/2 inches tall.

Ok the best I can say is the lid just comes over and closes over the front. The scalloped edge of the lid just slips over the front panel as you can see in some of the photos in the listing. I'm sorry it took many hours to answer. I finally got some sleep. Thank you and I hope this help answer your question.
