The listing, 1976 JFK Bicentennial Half Dollar coin has ended.
This is a circulated 50 cent piece dated 1776-1976, It is a 1976 P John F. Kennedy half dollar celebrating the United States Bicentennial. The reverse has an image of Independence Hall and 13 stars representing the original thirteen colonies. The phrases "200 YEARS OF FREEDOM", "INDEPENDENCE HALL", "E PLURIBUS UNIM", "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", and "HALF DOLLAR" are also on the back. This is the actual coin you will receive and I will put it in a cardboard coin flip before shipping it.
Note to whomever deleted the last auction: This is being auctioned as a collectible and doesn't violate the "don't auction money rule" People (including me) actually collect these, notice how I put a detailed description of the coin in and how I am shipping it in a cardboard flip. The mint doesn't even produce half dollars for circulation anymore. If this violates the rules then all the auctions for Susan B. Anthony dollars, presidential dollars, sacagawea dollars, two dollar bills and the various penny auctions also violate the rules. further, it would be pretty pointless to spend 44 cents to ship 50 cents only to have someone spend it as 50 cents.
