You are bidding on a well rooted leaf that has begun to form new leaves, a baby plant! These are always a surprise because no two leaves produce exactly the same results. Sometimes the blooms are nearly white like the one shown and other times almost pure lavender. Usually the blooms are a variegated lavender and white. These are the descendants of a plant given to me by my sister and half-brother when my husband passed away. I nearly lost all of the plants recently but sometimes African violet leaves spring back to life when put in water. African violets are not actually violets at all, but succulents. The blooms look like violets and thus the name.
