I guess it was welded to hold it together. The blade is one piece and is in the handle. I am going to say it's welded. Don't know if it it tax or smng, Thanks,

Yes, ? is it Full Tang? NM, I'll answer! NO! Dangerously NO! This is not the kind of knife u say, & by saying so u can cause severe harm,the blade ends at the Handle & Gets Loose Very Easily! !If someone used it as a skinning/boning knife it can loosen & break loose stabbing the user (to death even) I know personally, my brother almost bled out & died & is paralyzed! It is meant for show or used to defend urself just one (1) time , called "The Best Defense, 440 Stainless Steel" Not Full Tang
