an AMD Athlon 64bit 3200+ socket 754 @ 2.2ghz.
upgraded and this was just laying around in the motherboard i upgraded from.

this CPU is equal to 3.2ghz of that of an intel. This CPU is NOT a socket 939 its a socket 754 its just sitting on top of the motherboard. happy bidding!! this has FREE SHIPPING anywhere in the US.

i never did on this CPU, but yes you can OC till about 2.6ghz on air. if you put a dual core heatsink + fan youll be able to get more as long as you up the voltage a little bit. ive seen these get to about 2.8ghz

Is 754 & AM2 Compatible? The Overview for my AM2 says that it's Athlon 64 compatible.

that idk dude, i only deal with newer CPU's now not these. so, im not going to lie and say yes to to get bids on it, but you can only TRY since this is 754 pins and AM2 is 940 pins.

No. Socket 754 was superseded by socket 939, which was superseded by AM2. They are 2 CPU generations apart.
