I am not sure. I guess it would depend on if net 10 has a bring your own phone program and if the offer cdma SIM cards

No. I factory reset it, and gave to my boyfriend to use when the screen on his phone was cracked. He just put his SIM card in and it worked. The only time you need any type of code is when you're trying to use a bring your own phone program and that's only the apn network code you'd need from whichever carrier has the bring your own phone program.

I am using one right now. Great phone ! It also works with Page Plus Cellular, Just put your Sim in before powering up and it's good to go. It is strictly a CDMA phone.
