The Moon Flower is a large, pure white bloom that opens at night and closes in the morning. The flowers are sweet and 6" across. Vines can be trellised, growing 6' tall. Beautiful, bright white.

Moonflowers need warm, sunny places and soil that will keep their roots dry.
This is an annual but will self-sow for next year if you let the seed pods fall to the ground. 

Plant Moonflower seeds early in the season after all danger of frost. Cover seeds with 1/4" soil. They can also be started indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost to get a jump start on the season. Space plants 8' apart.

The star of my moon garden. Self seeds. Never buy these mildly fragrant giants again. Spiky seed balls are sharp.
