Description
The listing, NIP 2 Boye Circular Needles has ended.
This auction is for two, new in package (I removed one for photo purposes) Boye Circular needles, size 5.50mm (US 9).
These were given to me about 3 years ago by a friend who was going to teach me to knit. It never happened, so here they are on Listia. I don't know much about them (or knitting in general), but feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!
? I confused about something, how one minute im the highest bidder then the next minute it says im outbid and when I bid again it says your bid has been submitted however you have been outbid. Why does it say that? I you know can you let me know so that I wont do that the next I bit on something.
Listia uses proxy bidding. "For example, say a user places a bid of 5 credits. If the auction starts at 0 credits, the top bid will now be 1 credit since that's all it takes for them to be the top bidder. If you now placed a bid for 3 credits, they would be the top bidder at 4 credits and you would be outbid automatically. If you placed another bid for 10 credits, you would be the top bidder at 6 credits since that's all it takes for you to be the top bidder." Hope this helps. Thank you for bidding!
Yeah, I guess you are referring to the fact that I replied to comments on more than one of my auctions about this. I'm fairly new to Listia and the first time I got out bidded immediately I didn't know what was going on. Didn't take long to figure it out though!
All of the Listia auctions are set up on proxy bidding... not just this one. Makes it easier if you are going to be gone when it ends, and you really want an item, you can bid really high, and it won't take all your credits, unless others bid up to near what you've bid... like if you were to bid say, 900 credits on this auction and others do not reach that 900, you will not use all your 900, but will only use the amount, just above the last bidder. Kinda confusing at first, but you will get the hang of it after using this for a while... I love the proxy way of bidding once I learned it.
