I do not know but i think it needs a new battery which has to be soldered in. I have not used a soldering iron in over 30 years and i'm not going start now.

From my point of view i would rather work on the 3g. I got 4 more 2g's to put on here
I use a 3g that i unlocked and like it but i just got a tmobile htc hd2 that has software issues and a 4in screen.
