The listing, 3 Hens 'n Chicks Succulent Plant Clippings to Plant Directly in Soil (Propagate) has ended.

All you have to do is just place the base of the leaf in soil and it will begin growing the rosette shaped plants that you see above. I would suggest using potting soil (or well draining ground dirt) to get them started. I have a few other varieties, and will post more pics soon. You can choose from the 3 plants that you like best, but if you'd rather- I can send you 3 contrasting colors or coordinating colors and types. They are very easy to maintain and grow. I have another auction for Succulent seeds right now. If you'd like more info about the plant, please read the description for the seed and clipping auction. yes, the clippings will come from my plants. the ones that posted in the listings are a few of the ones that I have. I have some more succulents plants but are not considered the Hen and Chick variety. you can look up the specific names for each at www.drought-smart-plants.com/succulent identification :)

Awesome! The colors become more vibrant when they are "stressed". I will list some websites that explain what "stressing" the plants means and how to do it. It's a virtually effortless task :)

These are beautiful and I want them so bad! Hens n chicks remind me of being a kid hanging out in the garden!!! If I win these my daughter will be helping to plant them!!! Absolutely beautiful I can't say that enough!

What cool thing to share with your little one. I can't tell you how many times people have said that it reminds them of the plants that their mother or grandmother had when they were growing up. My grandma and great grandma did too. They such a nostalgic plant. Thank you, and if you don't win this auction, I plan on listing more :)
