The listing, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker [GameCube Game] has ended.
opened but never played...
A shockingly different-looking game than his previous two 3D outings,
The Wind Waker is an adventure game like its predecessors but with a huge
emphasis on sailing. Indeed, to get all 100% items, you'll have to do a ton of
sailing around. You are finally allowed to explore the entire Great Sea after
beating the Forbidden Woods, and you can get a huge chunk of the exploring done
after that dungeon. There are 49 total islands in the world map and 49 charts,
including the 8 triforce charts. In order to not get lost in the giant ocean,
purchase Bait from Beetle's shops and throw them to the fish hopping around
each island. That fish will not only mark the island out on your map but give
you general tips and clues on things to do. While searching for the treasures,
check the charts to see the exact spot in the island the treasure is located
and match it with your location on the map, to make them easier to find. After
the Forbidden Woods, I'll take the reader on a couple of round trips across the
ocean to dig up all of its treasure. Around the time you get to the Tower of
the Gods, you should also get the Ballad of Gales from Cyclos, which will speed
up your travel considerably.
