This is so pretty! its hard to describe it, but, its a pretty silver outside carved "sleeve", then the pretty blue container inside..it does come out to place beads, sand, liquid or even ashes inside. its a tight fit so pull carefully. really unusual ! has chain too!

What is the cap is it a cork?

no, there is no cork. It is just what you see in the photos. If you want it glued shut or anything, you would have to find what works for whatever your placing inside. The little vial slides into the silver sleeve very tightly, and you need some pliers or tweezers to gently tug it out.
