This bracelet is about 1/4" thick, very substantial. As far as I can tell, it is enamel over brass. You can see the brass at the catch and the hinge. As you can see in the 3rd picture, it opens to fit over your hand. You don't have to worry about it coming loose, it takes a good pull to open it, it's very tight. The design is flowers outlined in bright brass on a base of royal blue. There is nothing on it to say where it was made, but it reminds me very much of jewelry from India or Thailand. It is a lovely piece, one you can wear with jeans or an evening dess. No chips in the enamel, it could be right off the shelf.
