Hey true girl;
ye my thing is blue belle homemade vanilla ice cream right now the tiny single serving cups! that is basically all i have been eating for the past 2 months, but it is having the adverse effect on me, i have lost over 20 pounds doing this, but its because regular food makes me physically ill! the stress going on right now in my life is tearing me down girl, my grand kids are my only joy right now thankfully i have them for 10.5 hours everyday monday through fridays while there dad works and my daughter has went mia in their lives, so i stepped up to be the mamma so they could have some sort of normalcy in their lives. heck her 2 month baby boy doesn't even know her as mamma,i sure hope she gets a tractor soon and gets her head pulled out of her behind ; ) soon.......well i shared more right now then i have with anyone in a long time but yur a good listia sister so i know you understand about stress lol it was touch and go for both of us for a while on here having to deal with some bad apples causing havoc to each of us. good luck on your auction to bad this is to big for me cause i could really use a pick me up to feel good about how i look. im in a slump right now hopefully my ssi will go through so i can get to a regular dr without it costing me 175.00 a month just to walk in their doors, the insurance would be nice for a change. the meds for my pain aren't so bad if i leave out the lyrica but they just get you coming and going thinking everyone's made out of money i think lol ima go check out your other auctions hun. this is a good one. ; )

TIP
After tomorrow's feast, we're betting you'll be thankful for an easy-to-follow plan to keep you healthy, in shape, and in full-on calorie-burning mode throughout the hectic holiday season. Our eat-right and exercise plan will help you lose 2 pounds a week, even in the midst of December festivities (and party food!).

Start with the Core Carver to sculpt your abs, butt and thighs:

Lie faceup, knees bent to chest, feet hooked in handles of a band anchored behind you. Extend legs with feet about 24 inches above the floor. Return to start. Repeat for 30 seconds.

Stop Emotional Eating
Ever have a frustrating day at work, a fight with your boyfriend, then end up cozying up with a nice cold pint of chocolate-chip ice cream? (We thought so.) Try this exercise designed by guru Jean Kristeller, Ph.D., cofounder of The Center for Mindful Eating and a professor of psychology at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. Once you take a breath and realize that there are other solutions to stress besides rampant snacking, you're on your way to overcoming emotional eating for good. —Paula Derrow

Triggering event: Skipped previous meal
Thoughts: I'm RAVENOUS. Since I didn't eat breakfast, I can pig out at lunch.
Emotions/body sensations: Excessive hunger
Actions: Eating twice as much as usual to make up for the meal you skipped

SOLUTION
Grab a piece of fruit as a snack or a handful of nuts to take the edge off. Wait 15 or 20 minutes, then eat your next meal as usual.

I'm right there with you on the soda - I was up to a six-pack a day habit *giggles* after my son was born, thinking the caffeine was helpful, but man o' man the jitters made me nasty! I was able to cut back to 1-2 a day while the children were little but now it's a treat if I have one every one or two months. The running around plus eating more turkey, whole grains and fruit helped me shed his baby weight and more. I definitely recommend the handful of nuts and a piece of fruit advice from earlier on - I try to keep this with me even now that I'm working again to help prevent to vending machine raids..... Good luck with your auction, great item!

6 Healthy Ways to Detox
By Erin Hobday
Find yourself eating too much junk food lately? You might be feeling the urge to detox. But resist the call of juice diets, fasts, and other trendy but potentially dangerous cleanses. Our plan involves "eating clean"— focusing on naturally nutrient-rich whole foods, and cutting back on processed bites.

"White sugar, brown sugar, honey—all sugar pumps calories into your diet and spikes your blood sugar," says nutritionist Joy Bauer. Consuming too much of it also promotes inflammation, which can increase your risk for heart disease and certain cancers and make you feel foggy and fatigued.

What to do? Stay away from foods that list sugar, high-fructose corn syrup or dextrose on the ingredients label. High-fructose corn syrup sweetens many processed foods, including cold cuts and ketchup, and food makers often add it to reduced-fat foods to make them tastier. Just like table sugar, HFCS can cause spikes and dips in your blood sugar, and some research suggests it may mess with the hunger and fullness signals the hormone leptin sends out, leaving you less satisfied.
AVOID BAD FAT

Saturated and trans fats can clog your arteries and promote inflammation. Nix trans fats by sidestepping fried foods and anything made with hydrogenated vegetable oils (check labels). And limit saturated fats to less than 7 percent of your total daily calories by wiping out high-fat marbled meats and choosing skim or 1-percent-fat dairy products instead of full-fat ones.
