I have the exact model of these speakers and trust me when i say they are the bomb and your neighbors will be upset if you turn up the volume on them. I live in an old house and when i turn them up the house shakes. and i fanned you too. BTW i own an older set for another computer and i can not turn up the volume on either one or my roommates have fits.

I appreciate that, but these are probably smaller and not as loud. I don't want people to be disappointed with the volume level. Because of the subwoofer, you can create a lot of bass. So if you have speakers already in place, you can add a boom effect, but need other speakers in place if you're looking for volume. Can probably hook them up to a surround system as well if you want to create more bass.

Did you ever stop to consider you may have an issue with your sound card ? or that the speakers may have a damaged capasitor ? I was not over stating how loud and how good of quality i get from my speakers. I have 2 sets and gave a 3rd set to a friend because 3 sets of langzs where just too much room to deal with. I even got rid of my stereo because with my lang's there was no need for my boom box it would not hold a candle to my stereo i had. the altcs are are way better

May not have been all the way up to appreciate the sound. No damage to the speakers...work like a charm! Just like the ones I have better.

I could use these if I don't HAVE to have other speakers... I only have the built in speaker on my laptop.. Would these work for me?

Depends on the location and price. I'll be honest with you, yes I do free shipping, but I choose the cheapest route possible. Would be very costly if I didn't and I don't want the winners to have to pay. If you think about it, if I waited for winners to send me shipping cost just to send priority, you would already have it.
