The listing, Art by me "Winter's Night" has ended.

This is my artwork. I have had no lessons I just enjoy seeing what I can create. I have never tried to sell or give away and this is an experiment to see if people are interested. Even if you don't want to bid on it, if you have any opinions please give them. I truly want to know what people think. These are on 8x11 art paper using acrylic paint. I have listed one more if you'd like to see it and give an opinion for that one as well.

I may be willing to ship out of USA. Let me know where if you are interested and I will check shipping costs.

good strong design. I like that the vanishing point is not in the center and is not the moon itself.
What kind of paint do you use?/ What kind of paper?

Thank you. I know I used acrylic paint but I don't remember the type of paper. I painted this about 3 years ago and they have all been sitting in my paint set box. I'd get them out just to look at them a couple of time a year and that was it. After finding Lista I figured maybe I'd find someone who would want them. Thank you again for your feedback.

This is my favorite one and the thing I find most appealing about it is the brighter blue near the moon. I want to tell you a secret. This was a mistake. My initial plan was to put the moon in the middle. When I mixed my background paint it was one color and when I mixed for it again I couldn't quite get it. My solution put the moon there and have the background sky look like it's darkening further away. Sometimes mistakes are better than your plans. Thank you all for your feedback. It makes me want to paint more. Once I painted on the sheets of paper in that book I never bought anymore. I think I am getting more soon. Y'all have me excited about painting again.

Yes I love astronomy. I have since I was a child. I got my first telescope when I was 10. I have moon, star, and sun decorations all over my house. I also have a tattoo of the sun enveloping the moon with stars around the sun of my own design. This also represents my family. Sun is my husband because he lights up my life, moon is myself just because it is my favorite, and I have 2 stars (which I need to get 1 more now) that represent my boys.

I just want to say thank you again for all of you comments and encouragement. I will be posting more of my art after these auctions are over. Again this is my favorite and in my opinion the best I've done. The other paintings are a bit more juvenile. If you would like to look at them please do I truly want feedback. If you don't like them or feel there is some advice to be offered let me know. I more than welcome constructive criticism. As I've said before I have never had any instruction it is just something that I always enjoyed doing. My mother has always been cross with me about it because she said if I would have taken art instead of chorus my ability would be greater. As all teenagers do I did what I wanted instead. I enjoyed chorus but at this point in my life I believe taking art would have been better. Just to be able to understand different concepts and have a greater skill set. I know I'm rambling so I'll stop now. Just wanted to say thank you.
