But I buy it from another site and they want phonenumber. They will write phonenumber on the item to be sure that the buyer gets the item.

that sounds fine but its not fair to anyone without a phone number, ( also some people have unlisted / private numbers scarred of telemarketers) ..
very few wont have a phone number and maybe everyone will be happy to do what they can to get their item it's just against the rules to say cant bid if cant give their number is all, With all the scamming that goes on in todays computer world people ,some get nervous , I'D GIVE YOU MINE ,,---But honestly this is a first ,a lot of people are buying from other sites and other Countries and so far i your the only one whos ever asked for a phone number,, , you sure they need it ? their not actually going to call peoples phone numbers with every delivery are they ? is it maybe just for insurance insurance in case parcel gets lost maybe ? i see that your a new member parcels all have tracking numbers and often just have to trust, Scary i know i was scared to death when i started shipping to people but 99.9% have been honest ,those 1 % who werent didnt get away with it ,, i want you to be happy here and sorry i forgot to say earlier i think WELCOME TO LISTIA ,,
P.S. IF Its a trust issue there are ways to check out people first and block anyone you dont trust, i dont know what site wants phone numbers but other members selling here probably already buying from them too maybe ask what they do, ,i just know no ones ever asked and its not something they have to do ,maybe they will once they know you and trust the company your dealing with better,, but maybe till then you'll have to trust them first ,,

WHOH WAY TOO LONG SO SORRY,,, Just asked another seller who orders from China she said she uses her own phone number but gives the winners address and no one ever phones , yes they lose occasional package she said but the items not her biggest loss its her shipping cost and company gives it back reimbereses her when she fills in a lost package form in the form of a credit,, she wouldnt name the company ,,, not sure any of that was helpful ,

most company's even from china has always given me a tracking on all my packages so you should be able to tell where the package is. As for a phone number you should always use your own number when placing orders this way if there is a problem you can answer it better than the winner as only you will have the order number and infor and how payment was made.
