my son is just getting into the beyblades, so i have a question for you! by "normal" beyblades, do you mean the ones with the ripcord type thing to spin in? and what do the different tips make them do? (does it help them spin longer, or faster, or more erratically, or what?!---like i said, i'm new the beyblade thing!!

lol...... Yes, by normal I mean the ones that use the rip cord. They break down into five pieces. Depending on the tip used it helps the beyblades spin longer, or spin erratically and hit harder. They are categorized into I believe three different types: attack, stamina and defense.
