Tried eating some but I'm not a fan of artichokes. I do love them as a garden background however.

fanned you and am watching...I grew up in East Providence but moved here to a kinder climate, how big do the tubers get...I love artichokes!

It depends on how long they have been growing--some are a couple of inches and some maybe 10. I don't like artichokes but love the tall background plant.

I have eaten them they taste like a potato or a water chestnut. Not to bad my dogs even love them and of course my pig lol.

artichokes dipped in melted garlic butter....ummm good- you don't get much flesh and you have to really work on getting full (lol) but I think they are yummy.
