The listing, Vintage Hand Carved Wood Box Mercer Island WA EUC has ended.

This is a beautiful hand-carved box
Measures about 6 1/8" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/8" high
I'n not sure what the wood is, my husband thinks pine but we are not sure.
The top is carved in layers.
It has "Mercer Island Wash." written on the top corner.
On the inside the front panel is wider than the rest of the box
The little box closes night and tight

Love this little box from my home state. Smell the box, it is most likely cedar. If the wood is dry, dampen it for a few minutes and you'll know if it is cedar. Thanks for sharing this with Listia. Nice auction.

Hi, I smelled it..and it has a wonderful smell to it..but I'm not sure it's cedar. My first thought was cedar but since I'm not sure, I couldn't say it in all good conscience. But it does have a lovely fragrance.
