Description
The listing, Shepherd Sock Yarn Hand Dyed- by Lorna's Laces has ended.
Up for bid a beautiful High End Hand Dyed Yarn by Lorna's Laces. This us a very Fine Fingering Weight Sock Yarn (you do NOT have to use it for socks) that is 80% Suoerwash Wool and 20% Nylon. This yarn is machine washable, but I don't think I would out it in the dryer. The color combination is spectacular but I don't know if you can see that in my pictures . I would describe the colors as many shades of Pink, Purple and Cranberry. Looks much mire beautiful in person. I paid $12.00 each and these are kept over from yet another project . These are two full balls containing 215 yards each so there is plenty of yardage here ti make something pretty, and it is a very soft yarn.
Fran, just wanted to let you know that one of the balls of yarn you sent me has turned into a beautiful hat that is being donated to a violence intervention center (mainly for abused women and children) in my city and it will be given at Christmas time. Thought you might like to know that your spectacular yarn will warm some very deserving person this winter.
Kelly, you are very special and I knew that when u started looking at my yarn. Telling me that made me cry. happy crying cuz not everyone would have told me something so special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
Oh, I didn't want to make you cry! You are most welcome. I just wanted to let you know that your generosity was paid forward and hopefully will be something special for someone. I love to knit and make things but I really hate keeping things for myself. I just enjoy seeing others receive something from me that I put time and love into.
Ok so I meant to put up a LOT more yarn tonight but we had a little accident with my little 10 month old grandson. He fell and hot a BIG bump in the middle of his little forehead. I put ice right away so I think it could have been worse so Joey comes before Listia tonight. But tomorrow.........
Oh, no! My daughter caught the end of a metal shelf at a store and had to go in for liquid stitches when she was about 1 1/2 years old. She still has a little scar from it but it is always scary when the little ones get hurt especially when they can't tell you how bad it is.
Now I just have to remember to save my credits for the next round!
To all my wonderful friends my grandson is going to be ok. I saw him tonight and he looks as cute as ever with a bump on his little forehead that should go away, and it could have been much worse , so we can get back to YARN. lol
