NOTE: From what I have read and what I know about embroidery thread: It is not recommended for the assembling of quilts. It just doesn't have the same lasting strength of quilting thread or other thread.
It is made different than other thread, usually thinner and shiny. It is somehow constructed so it lays on top of the fabric. It is more for embellishment not for strength as in seam construction.
