Old Chinese Coffee Pot ( may be Japanese ) I can't read the instructions. My Mom gave this to me many years ago. An older friend of her's who is Chinese gave it to her. The box doesn't look good but all of the glass pot and things that go with it look great. I have no idea how to operate this coffee pot. I don't even drink coffee. Posting to see if anyone might know how to use it or who likes to collect old things. It's just catching dust here.

It is also not your traditional coffee pot, it is a vacuum coffee pot. You put your cofee in the top pot and water in the bottom. Then you light the burner under it, which boils the water, which causes a change in pressure and the changeof pressure sucks the boiling water into the top pot. after the psure equalises it drains back into the bottom pot giving you a great cup of coffee, or so I hear.

Its actually Japanese. Hario means king of glass and they were founded in 1921 :)

Doesn't it seem like when you have no credits that you find something you have just got to have? I was just hoping that someone would know what this coffee pot was and could make it work. LOL
