The Phillips web site you mentioned states in the user manual that this webcam requires (comes with) a microphone. Are you providing one or would I have to purchase one on my own?

No mic included, Sorry. It doesn't require a mic to use. I bought it new and it didnt come with a mic. Not sure what manual you're reading.

which states the (original) package comes with the camera, a user manual and a microphone (only reason I asked) :-) But you say there is one built-in, then, I take it? IOW, I will be able to transmit sound as well without an additional microphone?
