it was silver color before toned
its bigger than a quarter and a bit smaller than a kennedy

About Rainbow Coins
AIRTIST INSPIRED. Hand toned for the fun of collecting. A nice show piece to show friends. many rainbow coins are just toned for the fun art of it. the value of the rainbow. is not the coin. but if a person likes the color than it has value..
There are many ..many collectors of Hand Toned rainbows. if you sit it out your friends will pick them up. they are lovely.the thing that sets mine apart is I have worked to get MOST of mine to refract. not just sit on it as if it was painted.

and until you hold one. and take it in different light sources to see the refracted color changes. you cant understand a rainbow coin. it is how it sounds. lovely colors from the rainbow. instead of a plain ol coin

lol yup see what made me doubt it at first was i have 4 more other than this auction. and i remeber where i got them . it was like two years ago at a rock show ( dirt rocks) this guy had coins in a display case at a stand. but mostly just morgans. and to lure us over he had a little table with junk on it. there was a basket that had junk other country coins. well the little coins i was getting where more for the pictures to try my rainbow experaments on. i found these in that dollar basket. i thought they where junk too. but i did find small silver coins in there too. i dont normaly get countrys coins.. i stick to ikes and kennedys. and only go for usa change when i run out of funds or need to try out a new thing to tone.. so most of the coins left are a few years old here. really they didnt sale for me.. but a few great ones i put out with them. i say if they are great or not.. as i said before. what drives me nuts. is when i have one or two GREAT GREAT toners and like on listia people dont watch or bid very low. i tend to want to pull it off and just keep it with my own stuff.. the indian coin listed is the one that is most lovely. and that murcury dime over all looks kind of cool. and that susan b refracts lovely.. rainbow coins that i have the color most of them refracts colors. not like the photos that look like a harsh siting like a painting. but i guess untill they get one. and see it live. i wont get high bids or retun customers. sad really sad.. i am trying on other side to get funds so i can get a new batch in. but i will keep posting my old stock in cycles

thank you for the nice thinking.. i have had to fight and fight about rainbows here is what i paiste when i get mad.
I am one of the very few people to come OUT OF THE CLOSET.
and now making a case (as you can see by my avatar.

admiting my coins are AIRTIST INSPIRED.

because I truely Dont understand this mintality of the so called rainbow purist.
EVERY SINGLE RAINBOW COIN. is that way becase of invirerment it was placed in . or a chemical.
A toned coin ???
Happend on its own.. excepted .. (but its really not.! it was placed by the hand of man in some kind of bad invirerment! )

Happened by its invirerment ( placed in a old album by the hand of man =Excepted ! )

Happened by the hand of man. to make it tone..not excepted

A natural pearl. found in its shell = excepted
cultured pearls man made = excepted still a real pearl
so im trying to speed up the time to get over this..
ALL COINS TONE!
invirerment..
I feel its a mater of taste.
and a market is made by the buyer.. no byers no market.

its dumb to me to place a coin in a sulfa tainted bag. or album.
and call that a slabing worthy coin.. or bad rainbow person.. put it ON the coin.. BOTH are MAN DONE!
one is excepted other is not. dumb!
