This is a lovely book mark. Perfect for a Christmas gift!

The black velvet ribbon has gold tone ends with tiny key rings holding the gold tone cross and photo charm. Each is set with bright, shiny rhinestones. The center stone on the cross has a reddish look to it in certain light but most times it appears to be black.

This really is stunning in person. I tried to capture the beauty in the photos, but couldn't.

I received this a few years ago as a gift and used it for about 4 years. My bible was kept in a padded bible bag to avoid damage and keep the book mark from getting broken. It looks delicate but is surprisingly tough.

I never put a photo in the charm. There is a very slight worn look at one end of the ribbon, otherwise, this is suitable as a gift.
