how big is this little cutie pie?

i am a veterinarian (disabled with fibro, devastated to not be able to continue, got my degree when i was 44y!) poodles have always been one of my favorites, they are so smart, so much more like humans than a lot of breeds. i adopted a little elderly white poodle when her owner died) she was a pistol! she was named ellie mae, but that just didn't seem to suit her. so i tried different names, she really seemed to respond to "mitzi" when i tried that out. so mitzi it was. i hope this doesn't sound weird, but because she loved that name, i called her my little "jewish poodle". i have such a high regard for jewish women i have known, seem so much stronger as women than me, and my little insecurities. she was like that. very strong, always having a ball, although she was getting on in years and had cataracts. i sure do miss her... and this brooch would be extra special to me because of her. i don't want people not to bid because of that, we are all in this together!! and i know there are others out there that would love this brooch as much as me.
but it is just way too cute for words!

are you only 18? bless your heart. is this your first (and maybe only) true love? then i really know that amazing feeling. i am 59, so it is a bit diferent at my age. well, actually when we first met, it was like i was 20 again! i remember.....i was 18 when i met my first true love. wow. it was incredible. i have never met a man like him since. but my guy is just as special in different ways. good luck to you. i know it can get a little like romeo and juliette with family and others who care a lot about you but this is only because they care.

always keep in mind, parents who are "overprotective" are parents who love you with all their being and want only the best for you. so many kids these days aren't nearly so blessed. if james is the one for you that is meant to be, then one day together you and he will see exactly what that feels like! :) and if you are still together at my age, and i hope for you that he is the right one and this does happen, you will have lived a "great romance" story that not many people live anymore. it will just be AWESOME! won't always be easy, but it will be awesome!

my brian (i was sharing your story with him) just told me that his older brother, who is now 70y, met his true love in high school, they married and are still together. he said their parents were the same way with them when they were young. so, what you know is, if it is meant to be, it will be! and one more thing, children with great parents usually turn out to be great parents, too. so just hug them and tell them how much you love them and how very blessed you are to have them for parents!
