Now this is an odd thing! A lot of four pairs of oversize socks, remind me of the stuff they make sock monkeys from. .

I don't know, use them for snowmobiling, or arts and crafts? I'm not from around here, and I've never seen such things. I don't think they are new, but are certainly clean and smell fresh. They've been in a bag in a closet for as long as I've lived here, but they're not mine! Maybe they'll be yours!
