Just a question for you, how did you calculate the dollar value to credits, I've tried to figure it out myself and I'm stumped. Love the auction fanned and watching

Listia sets the dollar value every so often ... But right now it's $1=9700 credits. At the time I calculated, it was $1=9200 credits

An easy way to tell, is to go to the thingy where you purchase credits. I just look at what I can get for $5, and divide by 5.

Another thing to keep in mind when bidding ... Once the high bid amount exceeds 50% of the GIN option amount, the GIN option is disabled. So if you are on an auction and contemplating using the GIN option, it's something to keep in mind :-)

I like to calculate full credit value, then set my GIN option at an amount UNDER full value. Listia is about GREAT DEALS!

It IS addicting isn't it?
You get best results if you are fair in your GIN pricing, and if you offer free shipping. For shipping, if I need to ship something in a box, I buy a box at Walmart for WAY cheaper than the USPS sells them for, or repurpose a box I received something in. Then I can ship at a lister rate than priority, still get tracking, and save money on shipping charges.
