"TOWER ONLY " Apple Power Mac G4 The Apple Power Macintosh G4/867 (Quicksilver) features an 867 MHz PowerPC 7450 (G4) processor with the

AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit, 256k "on chip" level 2 cache, and 2 MB of level 3 backside cache.

867 MHZ Processor
configured with 1.5 gig of RAM,
a 60 GB Ultra ATA/66 hard drive,
a 20 GB Ultra ATA/66 hard drive(with OS install setup),
a 2X DVD-R/CD-RW "SuperDrive",
and a 4X AGP NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX graphics card with 32 MB of SDRAM.

The Power Macintosh G4 (Quicksilver) series is quite similar to the "Digital Audio" series that it replaced, but the higher-end models --

the Power Macintosh G4/867 (Quicksilver) and Power Macintosh G4/800 DP (Quicksilver) -- have faster processors with larger level 3 caches.

Like earlier Power Macintosh G4 models, the Power Macintosh G4 (Quicksilver) uses the case design introduced with the Power Macintosh G3 (Blue & White) -- complete with a fold down door on the side that makes upgrading very easy -- but its silver, which gives the series its name.

My only question is when was this made or purchased. I see the address on the label, and im guessing it says feb 1, 2009? But the specs on this seem older then a 2009 model so im not really sure? Maybe you can help me out with year of manufacture? Thanks!

i have no idea, the person i got it from never told me. i think that the person i got the computer from had it build so to say (configured the way he wanted).... As for what year i have no clue. did a little digging on the serial number. your guess as for the year is wrong, sorry. It is a 2002 October build.
