This lapel pin was sent to members of Captain Tim's Ivory Stamp Club Radio Show in the 1930's. The Ivory Stamp Club helped promote H.E. Harris & Co. into the nation's largest stamp company. Captain Tim Healy was an Australian Army officer who joined with Harris & Co. and fascinated listeners with stories about stamps on a 15-minute radio show that aired three times a week. Harris & Co. offered their listeners stamp packets and membership in the Captain Tim's Stamp Club for 10 cents and two Ivory Soap wrappers.
