These are used in preschools and daycare's across the USA! They are (and have been for decades) great teaching tools for small children to help improve their fine motor skills.
Fine motor skills include things like using the tips of their fingers to pinch, pick up, hold and manipulate items. It teaches them patience, confidence and other skill building techniques.


Prepares them for preschool and kindergarten! Also, a great "calm down" tool.. If you have a child that is upset, set them down in front of the blocks and tell them when they can string 5 blocks, they can get up. Helps them to count and calm!

The bright, variety of basic colors also helps them prepare by learning their colors too! Count the blocks. Stack the blocks. Sort the blocks by color/shape or size.. The amount of games with these are truly endless! This set does not come with any laces but laces can be purchased at your local dollar store or Walmart. Some gas stations even have them. You could also use yarn, string or the like. Tie a knot in the end and let them go to town!
