Enormous smooth-skinned fruits can reach 100 pounds! Ideal for giant pumpkin contests. Makes impressive jack-o'-lanterns. Bright orange flesh is perfect for pies, canning, or freezing. Can grow as big as 70 inches around if given plenty of moisture, fertilizer, and wide spacing.Last year my biggest one grew to about 50 pounds, and we still have pumpkin in the freezer!
I have included a pic of one of my seedlings from this year. They get big pretty quick!
Plant 1" deep in nutrient rich soil. 8-10 day germination. To achieve maximum size, limit to 1 fruit per vine and water and fertilize regularly.
