Description

The listing, 6 Succulent Plant Rosette or Leaf Clippings to Plant Directly in Soil (READY-TO-GROW) has ended.

All you have to do is just place the base of the leaf in soil and it will begin growing the rosette shaped plants that you see above. I would suggest using potting soil (or well draining ground dirt) to get them started. I have a few other varieties that are not pictured, I will try and add more pics asap. You can choose from the 6 plants that you like best, but if you'd rather- I can send you 3 contrasting colors or coordinating colors and types. They are very easy to maintain and grow. I have another auction for Succulent seeds right now. If you'd like more info about the plant, please read the description for the seed and clipping auction. Please msg me with any GIN offers if the bidding has already began. Thank you :)
Will be sent USPS with tracking #

They are some really beautiful looking hen & chicks and I also seen a few other plants the jelly bean and the string of pearls and not sure if I missed one?
Now have your momma hens died ones they were done blooming for the most part the bigger ones do then you have all the babies to restock with.
I know I had just some plain green ones and I kept thinning them and they just kept multiplying faster that way when I thinned them.
Do yours do the same as well? Thank You.
I`ve never tried to grow a hen & chick from just one leaf before?

Hmm, in my experience I the "hen" rosettes (larger ones) don't usually die when start multiplying. Some of the rosette's leaves will die over time, if you periodically prune the dead leaves off (at the base of the plant) it helps to generate new growth. So yes to your question about how fast they can grow. Yep, you really can plant from just one leaf, and its really cool to watch it grow too! :)

Are these outside plants? Do they need a lot of sunshine? A lot of watering?
May 20th, 2016 at 10:49:50 AM PDT by
Original
That's a great question. They are both indoor and outdoor plants. They love sunshine (and thrive in full sun) but don't necessarily require it. Some natural light for most plants is always suggested, especially if it is in a dark or poorly lit room, even if its just putting it outside for a few hours to get some sun every few days. They can be put into pots or in the ground, they are very versatile and hearty plants.

Hate to keep bothering you but do they require a lot of water?
May 21st, 2016 at 7:18:06 AM PDT by
Original
No bother at all. They do not require a lot of water. It depends on the size of the plant, whether or not it's well established or still newly planted, the plants growing environment, and how quickly you want it to grow. Watering more than once a week can kill them. They are drought tolerant, so a healthy succulent can go for awhile without being watered. I'll list some websites that will give you some more useful info :)
