The listing, DELL Latitude CPi Laptop has ended.

This Dell laptop power up fine an goes to Bios because there is no hard drive installed (hard Drive caddy included).
The computer in in good overall condition but is missing the battery and CD drive and the power supply, all can be found elsewhere at a reasonable price or if you have one already here is a great spare parts computer.

yes i bid and seller i can see taken the hard drive for another dell ok but why you can,t leave the dvd and battery????? in it.so we all have to buy thouse things like we are all rich here on listia.com others who sell laptops as is or working may take keep the hard drive and include the rest.

Just about any laptop hard drive will work, doesn't have to be a Dell hard drive.

What kind of laptops are you you looking for, I have 3 working Dells, a couple more Dells that need work, a Gateway (needs work), A Compaq (needs work- comes up to Compaq screen then shuts off) and a couple of IBM's. Most will be put on Listia soon.

That's a thought so I'll think it over and yes I will be putting some of the other laptops up. I have 2 working now loaded with Windows XP and will probally be putting them up in about a week.

1 ram memory stick, it originally came with a CD drive and one of the other computers I was working on needed the CD and the battery, it does not have an ethernet plug in, but does have a USB slot, so you could get a wireless plug in and go from there.As to a date, I'm not sure, you could go to DELLs website and type in Latitude CPi and get a good idea.

Any windows CD will work in a plain CD drive, dosn't have to be a DVD drive.

It does work, it just needs a hard drive and power supply, the computer is functional.

Yes, it has a plug in for a phone line, no wireless card though, so you have to use a phone line.

I have 2 other Dells that use the same parts that are newer models, that's where the battery , CD player and hard drive went to.I will probally be putting them up at a later time as well as some other brands as well.

qwestion is all wouled like to know whay is the battery not there and dvd rom/or mabe a dvd read write rom drive not there where did they go ????is this your laptop/or a friend/family member gave it to you. ??? as every thing else shouled come with it not the hard drive.

It was a family owned laptop, stored away and forgotten until I dug it out and found it had the parts I needed for my newer laptops that were missing parts.
