And yes it does that is what we bought it for, but my husband found one he wanted and ordered it and I did not know until after i purchased this one so we opened it to make sure it worked in case something happened in the mail and posted it on here after we knew that it worked fine.

So will this work offline (iPod) and you can leave that adapter thingy running? So basically a radio? I need more information!

you plug the adapter into your ipod. then you set it to one of the stations listed on the charger. After such the music on your ipod will play through you speakers in your car like the radio does.
