Description

The listing, PS3 for Parts only has ended.

This is for a PS3 to be used for parts only. It was working one day giving us problems with the wifi sometimes and then just quit working all together. Not sure which component went out on it.

The shipping is for the console, anything that we can find that come with the system, and for delivery confromation and packaging.

Any questions please respond below and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you and happy bidding!

It sounds like the power supply might have went out on it. Maybe some blown capacitors in the PSU.

It would depend on how much it cost to ship. I could also arrange to meet you. I have a family member in that area that I am planning on going to see soon. Would that work for you? If I did free shipping for you then I would have to do free shipping for everyone. So it's better that I say that "local pick-up" is avaliable and shipping cost. Sorry-the rules need to be the same for everyone. I do have local pickup or arrange for a meeting depending on the distance for everyone to clarify.

I wish I would have known someone that would have fixed it before buying a new one! It is worth more getting fixed, but I made a promise to another bidder that I would do something nice for someone else. I feel this maybe it. Since it seems that it is likely it can be fixed and maybe kind of easy, then maybe someone can fix it and make a profit off of it or have it who has never been able to afford one before. I just hope it lands in the hands it belongs in to satifsfy this promise.

Would you rather it get fixed than get rid of it?

I allow for local pick-up. Live in butler, mo. Can arrange for a meeting place. Will not do extra credits for free shipping. The console weighs a lot and I will probally lose money on shipping as it is. I normally do, but I just cannot on this item. Sorry :(

Does it power up? Is it just the WiFi that stopped working?

I fix computers and consoles for a living. Hopefully I can either fix it or use it for parts.

It powers up and then turns off by itself. The wifi was still working but would give us some problems at times with "sticking" on one thing and we would have to turn off the PS3 and start over on the game my fiance would be playing. The wifi did that off and on, not always, just sometimes.
