Here is a an antique Victorian or Edwardian 14K belcher style engagement ring set with a beautiful approx. .65 carat white sapphire. The sapphire is quite lovely and definitely more affordable than a diamond. :) According to Lang Antiques, "A belcher ring resembles a gypsy ring but the center stone is held by prongs which are cut out of the shank." The look is quite striking. The ring is stamped 14K and a maker's mark "H". It is size 10.5 and can easily be re-sized by any jeweler. The ring is in very good condition with light wear.
